Back to School

We’ve just finished our first full-week back to school.  I’m reminded of how helpless the children are when they first come to school.  They cannot put on their shoes.  They cannot open their lunch boxes.  They cannot dress & undress themselves.  Most of them don’t even know how to blow their nose.  My principal mentioned the Preschool children have not been institutionalized yet.  I asserted, I initiate[Initiation not Indoctrination]

My paternal Grandmother was a kindergarten teacher and said she would only teach kindergarten-aged children. She asserted at this stage you can see the difference you make in their lives.  In fact, everyday my young students gain tangible new skills and capacities.

We are well on our way to self-mastery.  Let the journey begin!
